I first met the gorgeous Nikki when I was asked to photograph her amazing bridal shower (must blog that one!). Nikki was so welcoming and just lovely and the shower was not only full of gorgeousness but happiness, friendship and fun. (yep, definitely must blog that).
Anyway, I had an idea for an E shoot that I had wanted to do for some time. I just needed the right couple to use in this setting. When I met Nikki and Heath, I knew that this was the perfect concept for them.
I had always planned to use the bridge, but I desperately wanted to use the city and Rundle Street, but the tour down under just happened to interrupt my plans and so some quick scouting led me to an industrial area close to the city. It was utterly perfect and I am thankful for all those cyclists that day for clogging up Rundle street, otherwise I may never have found these spots. It was obviously fated as Nikki also had the EXACT same lippy colour as ‘that’ wall. Definitely meant to be.
The gorgeous Style Me Pretty tells their version of my shoot here (Thanks SMP!!) http://www.stylemepretty.com/australia-weddings/2013/07/11/adelaide-engagement-session-from-mel-boulden-photography/. You can find my version below.
Enjoy the pretty pics.
