The Hills Sessions
The Hills Sessions have been borne from a desire to supply families with a home away from home, if even for an hour.
I have many families who are renting, moving, building or renovating or they feel their house isn't something that they would like photographed but they still want family photos to immortalise stages throughout their children's childhoods. They want the feeling of a home for their images, that comfort, that coziness. So I have looked high and low and found a beautiful space where we can capture beautiful memories. We have access to the most wonderful interior design, (it's so welcoming and beautiful) and also the most divine outdoor spaces.
These sessions will NOT be mini sessions, they will be "midi" (or something in that realm) sessions, of at least 45 minutes, shorter sessions just aren't my thing. There is a lot of pressure for everyone to "perform". I feel my work aligns with the slow and steady pace of having time on your side and also will allow us to get the most out of this most perfect location. There will be a gap of at least 30 minutes between each session if we do go over for whatever reason (so many variable when kids are involved), so there will be no need to hurry at all.
I've fallen in love with this house and I hope all of you will too. I see you all in your winter knits. Kids in overalls, not too fussy, exploring the gardens and then maybe an indoor outfit to sit in that wonderful children's bedroom (wait til you see it). I will absolutely guide you , if you need, into making the best decisions re timing, re clothing and anything else you need.
These sessions will be wonderful and I hope will go ahead whatever the weather. However if some major weather event is predicted prior to the day a reschedule will be organised a couple of days prior and a new date will be booked asap.
The Package
I really want to make these sessions more attainable price wise than my regular full family sessions. I can do this because I don't have to travel and I also just want to make this something special for people who may not be able to afford it generally. They will also be a little bit shorter than my normal sessions.
The full price of the shoot will be $650.
You will receive a full gallery of high resolution images (usually upward of 30) and 8 6x4 prints.
Extended Family Shoot: Please let me know how many people there will be at your session
As a guide 10 people would be $850
Motherhood Sessions: Maximum 2 people (mum and other child)
The full price of the shoot will be $550
Pregnancy - One person only
The full price of the shoot will be $450
A deposit of $250 will need to be paid to book your session time.
If you would like to pay the full fee upfront, you are welcome to and for this I will happily offer you a discount of $50
